Escola

today was my first day in escola.
scary.
i entered the room slowly.
before i knew it i was surounded.

they all shouted things at me .
nao entendo ! nao entendo i said.
but it was of no use.


for 3 hours they sat and and observed me while i read and said nothing.
you see, i was equally curious about them.

a teacher did not show up so i jumped at the chance to escape this room with no windows.
i came home and retired.
for 2 hours i slept.
restlessly.
i dreamt of coconut milk and acai.
